David Kibuuka was a staple in almost every Ugandan home for those of us born or raised after the Idi Amin era of the 1970s.

He also collaborated on some small projects with my mother, who we now see has the Visual Artist gene in her DNA: Jayne Dineo, Kabahita Kamparo (my eldest sisters), Sharon Alinda, Jonathan Tabaro + Joshua Tabaro (my cousins), Jahvid Mulera, + Elijah Mulera (my nephews!). Healing through Art & Music is in my DNA!
